Ingredients

  • 2 avocados
  • 1 squirt lime juice (from 1 slice lime or from bottle)
  • 3-4 tablespoons Tostitos Salsa (Medium) adjust depending on how much avocado is produced
  • 1 tbsp finely diced white onion
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 2 pinch paprika
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper

Optional

  • 2 tbsp finely diced tomato
  • 1 tsp diced jalepeno pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, use a fork to squish the avocado fruit until soft. You can leave some medium sized chunks that are not mashed for more texture! Add in the remaining ingredients, using the fork to incorporate them into the avocado. Serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

You can keep the guacamole for a day or two in the fridge, however, keep in mind that the avocado will begin to change colour to brown. This is still edible but it doesn't look as appealing! Make sure there is either lime or lemon juice in the guacamole to ensure the acidity will help retain freshness of the avocado.
